It’s Day 6! We woke up later on this day compared to the others. Everyday has been pretty exhausting. Just another 2 more days and we’ll be heading home to KL!
We finished up the leftover eggs and pancake batter for breakfast.
Off we went to White Water World.
While waiting for the bus.
White Water World is located right beside Dreamworld. We thought to go for all the wet rides first, then dry off at Dreamworld. When we entered White Water World, it was close to being empty!
We don’t see anyone at the ticketing counter at all. It was only when we got closer to the rides that we see ahandful of people or so.
We went on our first ride and came out feeling like popsicles! It was FREEZING COLD!
Crazy! My teeth started chattering right after the ride! It was really really crazy cold! Even the guys felt chilly! Elaine decided to stop playing after the first ride, and insisted to be the cameraman instead. She said it was too cold and she wouldn’t know how to enjoy. We rode about 2 more rides and stopped for lunch. Even then, it was cold. We continued trying out other rides and I was tempted to stop as well cause of the cold. The queue wasn’t very long, but because most rides are very high up, the short queues felt like hours. It also doesn’t help that the cold wind kept blowing so strongly. The guys encouraged me to at least try all the rides, and that’s exactly what we did. We all left for Dreamworld right after.
We already rode everything except Buzz Saw. We went for ‘The Giant Drop’ and the ‘Tower of Terror 2’ again before going for Buzz Saw. The ride was super duper fast. It’s probably the only ride I can say that I was a bit scared for. Haha! I was okay at first, then when we were waiting in line (we’re up next), I see how fast that ride moved even at the very beginning and was like ‘oh mannnnn!’ The ride even hangs you upside down! It reached our turn, and what was even scarier was that there isn’t any handles or so that locks your shoulders in place to keep you secured when being dangled upside down! The only thing supporting you so you don’t fall off is at the waist!!! Ahhh! That was scary! I made sure I held on to dear life during the ride. Thank goodness all was well and it didn’t turn out to be THAT scary after all. It was a pretty cool ride.
Our break time with snow cones! Elaine’s fav since Sea World.
Top Rides In My Opinion (In no particular order) :
1. Buzzsaw (Get hung upside down and stay there for a while!)
2. Tower of Terror 2 (Thrilling!)
3. Shockwave (I really like this one!)
4. Wipeout (involves water and hanging upside down)
The night ended with a nice walk to Coles (to buy snacks to bring home to KL!) and a super duper satisfying dinner at italian Costa D’oro! Oh! I absolutely LOVE the food there! We walked pass it one day and a lady told us it’s the ‘Best restaurant ever!’ and I really have to say I agree! It was my BEST meal there!
We ordered Steak al Funghi, Fettucine D’oro and Chicken Costa D’oro. Super yums! The Chicken D’oro was my favourite! Drenched in teriyaki mushroom sauce. You’ve got to try it if you do head over! So so good!
Home was the next destination. We all slept by 1135pm.
