Welcome to The Crazy Bites everybody!

Home to a little pink monster, The Crazy Bites is a corner lot located right behind Public Bank in SS15.
It is easily spotted with it’s signature pink monster!
*The Crazy Bites does not have a halal cert, but states they are a “No Pork, No Lard” (and no alcohol) restaurant
and all their ingredients are obtained from halal suppliers*

A few days ago, Elaine (my event buddeee – check out her blog) and I were invited to do a food review. How can we say no?
I’ve been passing by the area and the pink monster has always grabbed my attention. It’s on my ‘to-try’ list, and suddenly ‘ding!’ an opportunity came by!
The environment is very bright, fun and cheery.

The Crazy Bites’ theme colour, as you can see, is pink, purple and yellow.
There is also an outdoor smoking area right behind that pink monster in the photo above.
And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for – FOOD IS SERVED!
THE CRAZY BITES FOOD REVIEW
——————–
*Please note that there will be some food photos without much comments on them.
It is most likely because I have not have tried them and thus do not have much to comment on its taste.
All reviews are written with honest opinions.*
The three main food served in The Crazy Bites are..
Burgers
Pizzas
Pastas
——————–
Let’s start with the burgers! Nom nom nom!
Teriyaki Rooster Bites (Chicken Teriyaki Burger)
Rm16.80
Goat Bites (Lamb Burger)
Rm16.80
I am biased towards lamb, thus I really liked this burger too. It’s flavour is just nice and its patty is tender as well.
However, I’d say the juiciness of the beef patty definitely beats this one.
Ox Bites (Beef Burger)
Rm13.80
The beef patty used is 100% imported from Australia and is really juicy and tender.
This one has my vote for the burgers section!
Apple Mushroom Bites (Say what?! Yeap! Apple + Mushroom Burger!)
Rm13.80
What an interesting combo! This is an all vegetarian burger.
I have yet to try this burger, but I was told it is really nice with the hint of sweet and savory.
Add in another Rm3 to make it a set!
It’ll come with a soft drink and yummy sweet potato fries – a favourite of many (one of them being dear Elaine)!
Next up! Pizzas!
Each pizza order comes with fried sweet potato, green salad and a special sauce – I believe they call it the Makarena sauce.
Crazy Seafood Pizza
Rm14.80
Crazy Hawaiian Chicken Pizza
Rm14.80
Pretty much like your usual Hawaiian Chicken pizza outside, but they are fairly generous with their cheese!
And I absolutely love how it goes along with the crispy crust.
All the pizzas’ crusts are thin and crispy and faily generous with the cheese. You’ll get cheese strings when you pull the slices out when it is fresh. Mmm!
To turn this into a set, just add Rm3 and you’ll have a pizza set with sweet potato chunks and a soft drink!
Hello Pastas!
Clam Vongole Pasta
Rm12.80
This is the first pasta I tried. The clams are faily big in size (meat wise, not shell).
The pasta is very flavourful with the rich seafood aroma. I would recommend this to people who enjoy shellfish.
Flamed Grilled Chicken Pasta
Rm12.80
I personally did not enjoy this dish much. I found the grilled chicken rather dry and tough.
The pasta however is delicious in its rich creamy sauce.
*Take note that the chicken may just be dry and tough on the day I tried it.
It may not be like this all the time. Feel free to try this dish if it appeals to you*
Seafood Aglio Olio
Rm15.80
I was already pretty full when this dish came about. We all shared and I only took a bit of the pasta.
I prefer it over some aglio olio outside of The Crazy Bites as this one does give you that super oily feeling like most aglio olio at other places does.
Add Rm5 for a set which comes along with a selection of Mocktails (Non Alcoholic).
*Commercial break*
Playing peek-a-boo with my little pink monster!
Alright, back to food! So, what else is available other than pizzas, burgers and pastas?
According to the boss of The Crazy Bites, they wanted a good variety of food whereby people with different preference can come together for a meal. If a person does not fancy pizzas, burgers or pastas, no worries! The Crazy Bites also serve good ol’ nasi lemak – A typical Malaysian’s favourite!
Not good enough? They’ve also included three different types of fried rice in the menu as well as salads and side dishes!
Chicken Honey (Rm14.80)
Calamari Rings (Rm13.80)
Crispy Onion Rings (Rm5.80)
Crazy Breakfast Sets will also available from 8am-11am in the near future with Egg Toast, Pancakes, Waffles and more.
A good variety of drinks are also served here. Choose from Coffee (Hot), Freddo (Cold), Chocolate, Milkshake, Mocktail, Tea, Soft Drink, Fruit Juice.
I had a Valrhona Chocolate Milkshake that day.
(The mango milkshake was very tempting too)
The milkshake really has a good chocolate taste.
It is very thick in consistency. I enjoyed it much though I found it a little too thick and could not finish it in the end.
As all milkshakes are, it is very filling.
However, I do know of people who will definitely enjoy this.
Also, though I’ve yet to try, Earl Grey Mojito and Latte Freddo seems to be quite a hit here in The Crazy Bites.
Feel free to pick them out to accompany your meals!
And that’s all for my food review of The Crazy Bites! Woot woot!
