Schnitz | Gold Coast, Australia

The first restaurant we visit on my trip to Gold Coast, Australia in 2016.
We all planned to dine elsewhere, but had a slight change of plans and ended up here. What attracted us was the beautiful environment (a very woody feel with an antler chandelier – Yes! Antler!) and of course, the food.

We were so hungry, I forgot to take a photo of the environment.
20160912_150731I got an ‘Aussie Aussie Aussie’ turkish wrap with a large combo (greedy me)
Aud12.90 + Aud6.90

Yikes! The combo came with a drink of your choice. I got the Mango Iced Tea.
20160912_150307-copyMild flavor but quite refreshing.

This is the burger turkish wrap.
Schnitzel, cheddar cheese, rindless bacon, beetroot, egg & BBQ Relish.
Yums!! It was really really good!
20160912_150753The chips were superb too!! They’re crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Also nicely seasoned with their special powder.
20160912_150809This is the ‘American Dream’. One of my friend’s orders.
Schnitzel, cheddar cheese, baby cos lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, dill pickles, tomato sauce & Honey Mustard.
It’s really good too – according to my friend.
20160912_150833Here’s the ‘Aussie Aussie Aussie’ in a roll. It’s more saucy than the turkish wrap, so remember to watch out as you eat!
