The alarm rang at 5am. The girls got up to transfer files, charge the electronics and get ready. We woke the guys after and had breakfast by our very own Chef Gu!
Then, it was off to Movie World! Our first ride was Green Lantern Coaster. It was pretty neat. It’s a 4 seater ride (pew row). I sat at the inner edge and felt like I was about to fall out when the ride turn corners. We sat Batman Spaceshot after. It was fun, but not as thrilling since we already sat on ‘The Giant Drop’ in Day 2. The Batman is lower and has the bounce like Solero Shot in Genting Highlands. The Giant Drop is much higher and goes up all the way, hangs there and comes back all the way down with no bounce in between. We then sat on Justice League 3D Ride where you sit in a ride and shoot monsters with your laser beam guns! They record everyone’s points so you can challenge your friend and see who’s a better monster killer! We had a break and went round the stores.
I bought a Batman hoodie which was super comfy and 2 boxes of Bean Boozled!! Can’t wait to play that!
Marilyn Monroe was outside the stores when we came out and waved me over to her. She look so sweet. She obviously wanted a photo with me, so I went over.
Harley Quin was right opposite and we took more photos.
Next up was the Scooby Doo Coaster. This one is really fun! One of my favourites! It’s a indoor coaster, closed up so the other riders in line wouldn’t know what to expect. I won’t tell you what happen inside, you should go and ride it yourself! Really worth it! The queue was longer than some others, but definitely worth it! They showed snippets of Scooby Doo The Movie which made me really wanna watch it again. After that, we came to the central street where Cat Women was performing. Everyone was gathering round the place watching the commotion. A car drifting show followed next. We thought we were lucky when we went in to find seats right in front when the other spots were filled. Later on, we found out that we picked the super sunny seats and because its so near the cars, the smell from the burnt rubber dragged against the road were rather overwhelming. I dislike the smell so much I was pretty uncomfortable watching the show. The show on its own is good. I loved the beginning where they had a dance cam. You know the kind where if you spot yourself on the tv, you’ve got to dance? I loved it! The show was a little funny, and they invited people to come down and be part of the show. With that, they also compiled a video right after everything ends with the participant’s contribution inside.
We sat Superman Escape after which was also SUPER good (in the photo above). Like really! The beginning was sooo quick. I really don’t know how to explain it, but it was AWESOME! They also have a short storyline on why Superman had to come and save us. Next up was Arkham Asylum.
It was closed earlier in the day, we’re super lucky that it opened again towards the end of the day. We managed to try all the rides. We took lots of photos and videos outside of Arkham Asylum (photos at the end of post). It was pretty fun.
The theme park closes and we went to a place known as ‘Night Quarter’. There were a lot of tents set up and the environment is filled with dim yellow lights which made the whole place nice and cosy.
The air is filled with live music by Harry J Hart. Can you believe the lad is only 14yo?! He’s really good! Go check him out!
They also had an enclosed area with benches and bean bags scattered around. It looks super comfy!
We walked around and I met this really happy ‘Calamari Man’. He sells calamari together with his wife and always has a friendly smiling face as he gives out samples. After walking a few rounds checking out the stalls, I went back to him and told him ‘If you dance for me, I’ll buy your calamari’ and he did! I got it all on camera! Such a happy guy! I also saw these cheese hat guy who shouted a greeting as I walked pass filming him, and the happy dancing ladies selling funnel cake!
I like happy people. I actually went back to the cheese hat guy’s stall after but he wasn’t there anymore, so I didn’t purchase anything.
I also went back to the happy dancing ladies and bought myself a funnel cake! I couldn’t resist it. They just seem so happy and I want to buy whatever they’re selling. Haha!
The night ended early as we went home right after and the boys K.O.ed by 10pm. The girls also called it an early night.
