Metta Residence & Spa is a 5 star hotel located in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
(Pros and Cons will be shared at the end of this post)
They have really great services and are super friendly and helpful. We were welcomed with drinks, cold towels and fruits
We also happen to have our villa upgraded and granted an early check in!
Here’s how our villa looked like :
Here are a few moments to hightlight during our stay :
Every morning, the hotel staff will greet you when you head out to the lobby. They also always greet you once you come back from your daily adventures.
All van/tuk tuk drivers are really friendly too.
Our rooms are always cleaned in the mornings and early evenings with water bottles refilled (It always happens to be when we are out so I believe they have been very observant with their guests)
They drew our curtains in the evening after cleaning to make sure the bugs are kept out.
On our last day, we were gonna leave the hotel for the airport at 1140am. At 1135am, the hotel staff came by to our rooms to pick up all our luggages.
I LOVE the hotel! It’s one of the best parts of our stay!
The public swimming pool area. Kinda hidding behind the trees.
The bar by the pool. Free cocktails are available every day at 6-7pm.
Where the breakfast buffet is. Yum!
The hotel’s spa place. I personally found it a bit pricey, but I hear that they are good!
And that’s all for the photos!
Free Airport Transfer to and fro
Breakfast Buffet is good (they change/alternate some things every day)
They have tea and coffee (latte, mocha, etc) free with our breakfast
Free Tuktuk to PubStreet every day from 5-10pm
Free cocktail/mocktail by the pool every day from 6-7pm
Hotel able to help book tours
Staff are very friendly and super efficient
Clean rooms and very comfortable beds
Free water bottle per pax (twice a day)
Spa is pricey in my opinion (but they ARE a 5 star hotel)
Some tours are much pricier than what you can get outside (National Museum ticket is cheaper from our hotel)
Road right outside Metta is small and dusty, and it’s a long stretch. Not that suitable for walking. I’d choose to take a tuk tuk even to the restaurants along that road.
