Lobster Shack Food Review | Madrid Street, Cervantes WA

Lobster fresh from the sea! Venue is approximately 3hours drive from Perth.
According to their site, Lobster Shack has won Bronze medal for Tourist Attraction & Excellence in Food Tourism at the 2013 Western Australian Tourism Awards.

This is how the place looks like

Round tables and chairs are available as well as canteen-style benches for bigger groups.

The two main dishes are the

Half Grilled Lobster, Chips & Salad $35
and

The Ultimate Lobster Lover $40,
which was pretty much the same thing with 3 lobster medallions for an extra $5.
It was good, but it wasn’t something that really stood out.

Lobsters are fresh and nicely cooked with garlic butter. Squeeze in a lemon slice if you wish. Chips are average, thick cut.

Everyone was given this upon ordering. It will ring when the food is ready for collection.

Lobster Shack also has a little souvenir shop and sells food products to bring home and cook (They sell different grades of lobster from A to E, though for some reason they only serve grade B lobsters on their menu). They also provide a few lobster recipes on their site!

We pretty much took our time digging through the lobsters and ate till everyone left the shack.

Although Lobster Shack had quite a few bad reviews on urban spoon, and a number of people stated that the customer service is bad and one of the groups got chased away, I actually though we got quite an alright service and no one chased us away as it closes. We were sitting there for quite some time though everyone else has left.

By the way, Lobster Shack also provides tours for Lobster Pot Pulling, Seal Watching, Cervantes Fishing, and Factory Tours.
