What do you do with all that Halloween candy that your children end up not eating?
There’s so many things your can do with it that don’t involve throwing it out!
My favorite way is to let them decorate a cake with it!
They will have so much fun deciding what candy they want to put on their cake,
and if they want to make a certain design or simply sprinkle it on!
The ingredients are fairly simple, so let’s begin!
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 box of spice cake mix
1 can of pumpkin puree
1 container of Wilton decorating icing
1 bottle of orange coloring
In a large bowl mix the spice cake and the pumpkin puree.
Pour into a cake pan of your choice. I used a round one. Bake the cake as directed on back of the cake mix box. Mine took around 20-30 minutes.
To prepare the icing, dip a toothpick into the orange coloring and then streak it into the icing.
Mix well. Do this until you have your desired color.
Ice your cake and then all you have left to do is to add your leftover candies!
It’s that simple!
I love sharing this cake recipe with you!
