King’s Park; East & South Park (Perth, Australia D2)

Welcome to Day 2 of my trip in Perth, Australia! Today was more of a chill day. I stayed home till around 12pm and joined my aunt and the dogs to to Samson Grove. It was a more narrow than wide park. We walked deeper in and had a rest on the bench overlooking the play area for the children.

We went home after that and left home again at around 2pm. Went to get some information on the Fremantle Prison tour and took some extra brochures from the area and left to wireless hill. Nothing much there really.

It’s another park area with a square cement block where you can climb up the stairs to have a look down the hill.

Our dinner that night was at Cicerello’s in Fremantle. Cicerello seems to be really popular here. Lots of my friends have recommended it. A must-try for their Fish & Chips and other seafood dishes. Click HERE for the full review on Cicerello.

That night, we went to King’s Park. Another must visit place everyone seems to have recommended. And indeed this is one of my favourite place I’ve been so far. Haven’t visited it in the day time, but it is really beautiful at night. I love how they had grassy slopes perfect for lying down just to watch the city lights. Perfect for a date perhaps? Many couples were found with their own mat and snacks lying on the slope enjoying each other’s company. You can also take a stroll down where you’ll reach an area opened up great for photography.
It’s a beautiful place to capture the city lights on camera. Any dogs that visit that area has to be on leash no matter how well behave they are without a lead. Watch out for you may just get a fine if your dog is caught without a lead there.

We took another stroll at East Perth where the river flows into a housing area with some restaurants by the side. A bridge is also brightly lighted up above the long river. My aunt told me that they have a really nice breakfast in the restaurants along the sides and lots of people would just jet ski into the area for breakfast.

We traveled to quite a few places today. The final destination of the day is South Perth.

Grass, sand and a salt water river completed the place. My aunt mentioned that there are dolphins in the area. We had no luck in spotting it though.

Anyways, that’s all for this post. Check out my post on Day 1 here if you have not!
