“Hurricane’s Grill is the place Gu and Elaine has been talking non-stop about since BEFORE we came to Gold Coast. They’ve tried it at Sydney once and fell in love – not with each other, with the food I mean.”
The ambience is really comfortable and soothing with low yellow lights that were bundled up in clusters. The windows to the side looks out to the streets below (Hurricanes is a floor up) and further out to the beach.
We ordered Pork Ribs (the one Elaine and Gu has been drooling about) and BBQ Wings.
The ribs comes with either a side of baked potato or fries. The nice waiter gave us both.
Baked potatoes served with sour cream.
Pork ribs! It’s really really good! Thick and tender with lots of meat!
A must-try if you ever visit Hurricanes!
BBQ Chicken Wings.
In my opinion it wasn’t really good. Perhaps we got a bad serve this round. It has the same BBQ sauce as the pork ribs we ordered, but it tasted a bit burnt and the texture of the flesh wasn’t that nice either. The burnt taste was the one bothering my buds. I really didn’t enjoy it at all.
