How To | Organizing Fonts The Easy Way!

Love downloading fonts? If you’re anything like me, you’ll understand the feeling of staying up late with your eyes wide open going through pages over pages clicking ‘download’ repeatedly from sites like dafont.com !

It’s great to have so many fonts to choose from when designing something new, but it’s really troublesome to have to look through them one by one. Especially if you have a few hundred of em and simply can’t remember the name of the one you have in mind.

I recently stumbled upon this awesome software that helps you organize your fonts! I am so so so in love with it! You can easily compile the fonts into a computer file or print it out! I’m doing both! I personally prefer physical copies, but also decided to save them in jpeg files for safekeeping. I can always go back and reprint them whenever I need to.

Click HERE to download the software! It works for both Mac and Windows.

Install and open the program. On the right side, there is a checkbox with the words ‘text written in the font’. Type in the words you want for the fonts to appear in. Instead of typing a word, I typed in all the alphabets in both caps and lowercase. Watch out as you print though, some of the really thick fonts might not fit and be cut off. I’m going to print a second set with symbols and place them behind each alphabet sheet of the same set of fonts. This is useful if the fonts actually comes in another symbol that’s different from what’s on the keyboard. An example would be the Mf I Love Glitter font. The underscore shows a stringed heart, and the square bracket create tails.

Well, that’s about it! Hurry up and test it out! I hope you enjoy your new set of organized fonts!
