Food is one of the best things in life.
I’d like to introduce you to my favourite happy food place – Hadramawt Kitchen, Glenmarie.
They serve Middle Eastern food. It’s a small place, but they put up such a feast!
A friend brought me here back in November 2017. It was a Wednesday.
On that same week, I came back on Friday with my colleagues and again on the following Tuesday with my Family. Trice in a 7 days span. That Tuesday night after dinner, my family decided that we’d be back to try their family set.
THAT, was how great the food is.
I’ve already came back to Hadramawt Kitchen several times since then and have tried a number of dishes. Though, I also tend to always order the same few favourites of mine!Cheese with Tomato and Olives
Rm16
Greek Salad
Rm12
The salad’s combination is really delicious! I somehow found the tomatoes to be extra fresh.
The entire salad dish looks so simple, but has a really refreshing taste!
1Kg mix lamb & chicken
(to share) Usually comes in a set but can be ordered separately as well.
I love their rice! It’s super flavourful in each bite! I personally love Kabsa, but also have friends who voted for Mandi.
Fahsa (Lamb)
Rm14
Okda Chicken
Rm10
I liked both Fahsa (lamb) and Okda Chicken. I’d say that Fahsa is more flavourful whereas for Okda Chicken, you taste more of the chicken and it’s essence. Both are really yummy! I found both these dishes to be slightly smaller than expected, but nevertheless still good for the tummy!
Lamb Cubes
Rm18
Mix Grill
Rm28
I especially love the crispy bits served on the side (I have no idea what they’re called).
They go wonderfully with the garlic sauce!
Ladies Fingers with Lamb
Rm13
Delicious stew with very tender meat.
Hummus with Lamb
Rm10
Love having this with Malawah bread as well!
Malawah Bread
This is definitely a must try! – This Malawah bread above is S size (Rm6)! Can be shared among 3-4pax.
I highly recommend you to order the garlic sauce (Rm3) to go with it.
I’ll say it’s not a cheap sauce, but it is SOOOO GOOOOD!
My happy food place. Everyone whom I’ve brought/told about Hadramawt Kitchen and tried it and LOVED it.
I’d say the price is also fairly reasonable for Middle Eastern cuisine.
There are so many food to try, but here’s my top 3 must-order list :
Lamb Burmah (Not in photos above)
Mulawah Bread
Garlic Sauce
Go on and give it a try! You might just fall in love!
Cheers!
