Woke up extra early to head over to Elk Espresso on Chelsea Avenue.
This is how the place looks like.
There’s outdoors and indoors, but it was already super packed when we reached! Mind you, it was only about 6+/7am when we reached. We thought we were early. Guess not.
There was a queue going on and we decided to browse through instagram to decide what to have. The most popular dish is “Potato Hash and Salmon” and their Panna Cotta. Unfortunately, their Panna Cotta was sold out that morning.
We ordered a lot of food that morning. A main dish for each of us, plus desserts to share!

The most popular “Potato Hash with Beetroot Cured Salmon” $19
I loved it! I absolutely love potatoes, salmon, rocket leaves and eggs. In this dish, they pretty much made me the happiest girl on earth! Everything I love on one dish! The potato hash comes in a ball and is crunchy on the outside and mushy potato-ie on the inside! Absolutely LOVE it!

Brian ordered this dish above but did not really fancy it. However, Elaine Tan loveeesss it a lot! She loves the unique taste of the eggs and couldn’t stop wanting more. She was very tempted to order another one of these for herself. I personally am not a fan of coriander, thus I try my best to stay away from it.
Desserts to share!Not a big fan of this. It is nice, but I won’t brag much about it.
It has a dry crumbly texture with a creamy centre.
I remember this particular dessert the most! Extremely moist thick chocolate. Absolutely perfect with a dash of light fluffy cream! My favourite among the rest.Another dessert that I quite enjoy. A lemon flavoured dessert with fluffy cloud-like topping. It melts in your mouth and has a light tangy flavour.
